Dear Parents and Carers,

I wanted to update you regarding the ongoing issue of dangerous parking and speeding outside school. I am now in discussions with the local council and have also informed Northumbria Police about the situation, seeking their support, along with Sunderland Council, to help with enforcement measures.

Safety is one of our four school rules, and we will be getting the children involved in spreading the message about the importance of safe parking and driving around school. It’s crucial that everyone follows the rules to help keep our children safe, and we’re working hard to address this issue.

I’m asking for the support of the wider school community—particularly the small number of parents who continue to park irresponsibly. Your cooperation is vital in helping us ensure that the area around school remains safe for all our children.
