Thank you for your feedback, which can be summed up in some many ways, but none better than..."children are at the heart of the school."
📢 Whole School Parent & Carer Survey – Thank You🌟
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our Parent & Carer Survey. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make our school the best it can be.
Here are some responses to the key themes from your ‘It would be even better if…’ comments:
📌 Homework Consistency – We’re reviewing the regularity and consistency of homework across the school, from EYFS upwards.
📌 Communication – We strive to keep you informed, though as a small school, some opportunities arise at short notice (e.g., today's St Peter’s trip). Wherever possible, we aim to give at least four weeks' notice for school trips.
📌 A Wider Range of Activities & Visitors – We already welcome a variety of visitors, including STEM professionals, Nissan, uniformed services, police (Y5/6), fire brigade (Y4), and health teams. Upcoming plans include a visit from Angela’s Ark for EYFS and a chick hatching project.
📌 Computing & After-School Clubs – Computing is timetabled as part of our curriculum. After-school clubs depend on staff and external partners, and I’d love to resume Chess Club, time permitting.
📌 Nursery Observations & Academic Updates – We currently update parents on academic progress termly (linked to assessments & parents' evenings). We’re exploring ways to share more nursery observations, either via Class Dojo or another system—updates to follow.
Your feedback helps us grow and improve—thank you for your continued support.💙
