11.07.23 - Sunderland City Finals

Congratulations to our Y5/6 football team for qualifying for the City finals against the top five teams in Sunderland.
Finals night were held at Hill View Junior school, on Tuesday, 11th July, with Team Seaburn going out on goal difference, following a 0-0 draw with Mill View and a 0-1 loss to St Cuthbert's RC.

Eden Colliery Cup Winners 2022-23 - 18.10.23

Well done to our Y5/6 football team who won the Leadgate Eden Cup today, with a final 1-0 win v Shotton, 0-0 draw v Cassop and a 2-1 win over Browney. This is the first time we have won the Durham trophy for smaller schools.

The squad went on to compete in the North of England ESFA Pokemon Cup, representing County Durham at Washington Hub - and finishing third. The top two schools went through to the national final and we were knocked out on goal difference. The results on the day:D,D,L,D,W.
